Representing Attorney tab

The information under this tab (Figure 9) is available for use in Narrative Reports in ChiroPadEMR and for practice marketing in the Letters in both ChiroPadEMR and ChiroOffice. The data can be automatically inserted into Narrative Reports and Letters through available merge variable fields in the SmartPad Template Editor. There is a full chapter devoted to the SmartPad Template Editor. In order to enter Attorney information, the employer data must first be entered in the Attorney Catalog. The grayed-out fields on this screen are populated from the Attorneys catalog.  For more details about entering data in the Attorney Catalog, please review the Attorney Catalog section in Chapter 7.  

Once the attorney information has been entered in the Attorney Catalog, then that Attorney’s information can be brought into the patient file. If the patient has an attorney, place a check in the box just above the Attorney name box. Click on the Browse button (the square button with three “dots”). The browse Attorneys Catalog screen opens. Select the employer and the information will populate the appropriate boxes for this patient. The notes area shows the notes that were entered in the Attorneys catalog. Remember that the notes displayed in this space are for in-office reference only and do not print. These notes are seen only by the office staff.
