The DDx tab (figure 7) is a gentle reminder for each health care provider that does not have a perfect photographic memory. The concept is to review other things regarding the patient’s condition as it relates to potential serious health issues. Clicking the DDx tab provides a list of health conditions to check into for other serious problems. For example, when a patient is complaining about sacroiliac pain, also question and examine that patient about things related to Abdomen, Bowel, Renal, GI (gastrointestinal) and GU (genital &/or urinary) problems. For each complaint in ChiroPadEMR, there is an appropriate listing of potential other health problems.
