In multi-provider practices, ChiroSuiteEHR offers the ability to process claims individually for each provider. Place a check here if you wish to separate each provider’s claims. In multi-provider facilities, this option allows you to determine if all charges for a patient appear on one claim form, even if the services were performed by different providers, OR to create separate claim forms for services given by different providers.
Use Alternate Claim File Name
This feature is used in conjunction with the option to Process Individual Claims in a multi-provider practice. Place a check in this box to enable the creation of separate electronic claim files for each provider. After placing a check in the box, enter a unique identifier for this provider. The identifier could be the provider’s last name, provider ID, or anything else that makes sense for the practice. When the claim file is created, the identifier will be added to the beginning of the file name to create a separate file. The same identifier can be used by 2 or more providers if there is a need to do that, such as grouping all claims by specialty (DC, DO, MD, PT, etc.).
