Popup Messages provide immediate notification of something important for that specific patient when the patient’s electronic account is opened in ChiroSuiteEHR. For those that have the complete ChiroSuiteEHR system, the popup can be set to appear only in ChiroOffice for administrative staff, only in ChiroPadEMR for doctors and other providers, or in both.
The Popup Message defaults to using today’s current date. Note that the user can change the date for the Popup Message to begin appearing only at a specific future date instead of beginning immediately. The message will stop only when a staff member designates it as Complete or deletes it.
Popup Messages are used for many things. Use creative imagination to make the best use of the system. Some of the purposes of the Popup Messages are:
• Remind the doctor of critically important clinical data (spina bifida, spinal surgery, etc) on each visit
• Remind staff members or a patient about special payment arrangements.
• Remind the staff about special issues about this patient, e.g., handicap assistance, unwilling to wait past appointment time, etc.
• Remind the staff to get updated insurance information.
• Any special follow-up situations.
