The next section that is required for the documentation of Meaningful Use by Medicare is the EHR Clinical Quality Measures (CQM) report (figure 26). Although some items overlap with AMC, the reporting is distinctly different in the CQM section.

The CQM window functions similar to the AMC window. All reports or a single report may be selected, with the added ability to generate it in an XML format. The XML format gives the ability to submit these reports electronically, once Medicare or other government agencies are capable of receiving the electronic submission. The Reporting Period Date(s) and Provider must be selected. Click Run to generate the report for the time period and provider selected.
