Editing a DIR Region is easy. Click on the DIR REGION to be edited in order to highlight it. Next, click on the Edit Item button. This opens the Edit DIR Region pop up window, which is identical to the New DIR Region pop up.
Once the Edit DIR Region pop up is open, the Title and/or Active/Inactive Status may each be changed. After completing the edit, click Save to complete the changes and close the pop up window.
There may be a DIR Region, or Regions, that are absolutely never used. Once created, a DIR Region is never deleted from ChiroPadEMR, but it may be removed from the Active list by placing a check in the Inactive box for that specific DIR Region. The Inactive checkbox is located at the lower left corner of the window. The Inactive items will be visible only on the DIR Regions window, and only when the Show Inactive box has been checked. After a DIR Region has been made Inactive, it will no longer appear on the list in the patient DIR.
