The system does NOT allow the deletion of an Extremity Test Bones/Joint item. The only option is to Make Inactive. Once the Bones/Joint is made Inactive, it will no longer appear on the list in the patient’s Extremity window. However, the item WILL remain on the Customization list with the Active box NOT checked.
Select the new item on the Bones/Joint List, and verify that the Active box has a check in it. If it is an item that is on both sides of the body, make sure there is a check in the Bilateral box. If the item is a midline structure, such as the Sternum, then there should NOT be a check in the Bilateral box.
Now click the Save icon, close the window, and from the Tools menu, run Refresh Local Verbiage.
In order to see the new addition to the list, it may be necessary to use the scroll bar. The items will appear on the list in the order in which they were entered.
