Date Options:

Use System BIOS Date as the default date This is the standard setting, which uses the current date from the computer’s bios chip for all entries in the system. Every time the ChiroSuiteEHR Attendant is started, the system automatically uses this setting.

Backdate the default date usingThis option resets the date ONLY for New Transaction entries as well as for Insurance Posting. All other entries will still use the System Bios Date. This feature sets the date to whatever is selected, only during the current ChiroSuiteEHR Attendant login session, and only on this computer.  If the ChiroSuiteEHR program is closed and restarted, the System BIOS Date will be reinstated. This option is important when it is necessary to make entries that could not be done on the correct date. This may be due to a power failure (storms have shut off electricity in some areas for more than a week at a time), theft or vandalism requiring the replacement of computer equipment, or some other unexpected disaster. By changing the date in this field, you will be able to enter transactions and post insurance payments knowing that the correct date was automatically entered. Once you have completed each date’s entries, restart the program to return to the System BIOS Date.
