The
system will default to the current date in the Begins On drop down box as soon as the
New Counter button has been clicked. It may
be necessary to change the Begins On date, such as when the patient’s
insurance information is being entered in the system at a later date, not on the
same date that the patient began care. In order to change the Begins On date, click on the Pencil icon
located between the Begins On drop down box and the
New Counter button. This will split the
field in the box so that the date and time are separated. Click into the
Date field to manually change the
date, or double click the Date field to open the Calendar and select the date that the
Visitometer began on. After the correct date
has been entered, click on the Negated Pencil icon
to lock in and save the date
change.
If the office staff needs to see past Visitometers, click on the drop down arrow and select the date to be reviewed. The settings for the past Visitometer will be displayed as historical information, not affecting the current Visitometer.
